I am a huge fan of green roofs. If we have to live in cities let’s make every surface , roof or balcony or pavement as green as possible!
That’s wonderful news – imagine how much unused roofspace there is that could become wildflower meadows 🙂

I agree, every flat roof should be a meadow! 🦋

Plants are amazing but seem to have a mind of their own when it comes to deciding where and if they want to grow. Amelia

Such is your poetic spirit, I rather thought they probably got there in a mistake with some compost that was brought in.

I wish I had any hand in it, poetic or not , but coming in on the soil is the most likely origin!

There are some very attractive “green buildings”. I agree, let’s use every possible space – rooftops, balconies, walls, whatever – for plants and trees to flourish. It certainly won’t harm the climate!

I would like to make my garage flat roof into a living roof, but the cat likes to sun itself on the asphalt !
