These gloves were drying out on some gladioli canes and I suddenly thought my garden might be telling me something!

It has been very hot, it has been very dry, it has been watered with bath water and then last night it got shredded by a hail storm!

I think it maybe in a bad mood, but hopefully it won’t last and the water ( once the hail has melted!) will put a smile back on its green face!

Fingers crossed – if your gloves can do that!

That would be politer than what they appear to be doing now!

When we first moved neighbors said you can never grow soft fruit here because it is famous for hail! Xx

I think you need to place your gloves in such a way that the thumb points up. Regardless of what your garden thinks about the wild weather, it surely appreciates all your tender loving care. 👍

The hail stone storms this year have been horrendous. It came very near us but we have had no hail. Amelia

They are so localized, one half of our village was really damaged, roof tiles broken barn walls blown out and lots of old trees down, so we were lucky in our half of the village!

Hahaha! Brilliant! Our garden took a real beating when it was 41°C here and it’s still recovering. Cat Daddy has lost his Saskatoon berries. 😢

I love the finishing photo – after the weather’s destruction, it ends peacefully. I could almost smell the fragrance of those gorgeous pink flowers 🙂

I confess now that I took this photo last week on holiday. None of my flowers look this good, but it cheered me up! Happy gardening!
